As a child, I went into the hills of North Dakota with my pad and colored pencils and drew trees, wild animals, and horses grazing in the meadow.
Now oil painting is my favorite, but I enjoy a variety of mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, encaustic, and assemblage. My paintings come from my soul and are vulnerable, cartoon-like in c

Now oil painting is my favorite, but I enjoy a variety of mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, encaustic, and assemblage. My paintings come from my soul and are vulnerable, cartoon-like in character and full of rich colors.
Art should be fun. My main goal is to enjoy the process, but I also take pleasure in sharing the final product.
I love to paint people and wildlife, especially birds. I want to capture their essence and show their vulnerabilities and humanity. The eyes are the window to the soul.
Our family sponsors and has been members of Escondido Arts Partnership for fifteen years. I am currently Treasurer of The Valley Center Art Gallery. I hope you enjoy my art.
